A Yale/Stanford randomized controlled study on college students published in Frontiers in Psychiatry on July 15, 2020 compared 3 well-being interventions:
1. SKY; 2. Mindfulness (MBSR); and 3. Emotional Intelligence.
SKY was the only program to show statistically significant improvements in 6 measures of well-being: 1. Stress; 2. Depression; 3. Mental health; 4. Social connectedness; 5. Positive emotion and 6. Mindfulness.
The Emotional Intelligence group showed improvements in one measure: 1. Mindfulness.
The Mindfulness (MBSR) group did not show any significant changes.
